I always put the car in sport mode which turns traction control partially off. I tried launch control a few times and thought it sucked. Better off getting drag radials, a Tazer for line lock, and heating them up good. Then try launching from 1000-1500RPM and your car will take off like a rocket!
Hello. I've just bought 2018 Dodge Challenger GT AWD and faced with the same issue - Launch Control is set to 1000 RPMS and it's not adjusting. Could somebody please tell how can I solve this issue? Sport mode, as OrangeCrush392 said, changes the performance parameters a bit. With your 6M, you've probably noticed that if you're doing say 45 mph in 3rd and then press the Sport Mode, you'll feel a change in the engine as it surges, acceleration is quicker. After you reach your launch control rpms the traction control then turns all the way off. If you hold down your traction control button for about 10 seconds you get a dash message saying your traction control is off. Only then is it totally off. That is my understanding anyway. Same in Sport mode.
