Ducktales was actually notable for being one of the few 80s cartoons that didn't look like absolute trash all of the time. If you compare the animation in episodes animated by Tokyo Movie Shinsha to stuff like He-Man or even GI Joe, it's basically embarrassing. That being said, the 2017 reboot is better in basically every other aspect.
