I'm using Office Home and Business 2021, and when I'm using Outlook and I try to mark a message as read, it just gets marked unread a second later. I mark it as read, then I see it do the online sync thing in the status bar, then immediately after that it marks it unread again. Sometimes I have to mark it as read 3 or 4 times before it stays read.
