Difference between Tele and Strat - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Both brilliant. Both different. The strat has an incredible array of sounds. 3 pickups. 5 settings. And tone and volume knobs that make large differences. Particularly if you have a tone on the bridge. The tele has maybe a less vista of sounds. But the tele works in more genres. I’m just...

Putting a tele bridge pickup in a strat - Telecaster Guitar Forum
A tele bridge pickup is further from the bridge than a strat pickup by 0.214 inches (see links to diagrams below). Therefore, if you just widen the route in your strat and jam a tele pickup in it, the pickup will be closer to the bridge and will be brighter.

Hardtail Strat vs Tele assuming same bridge and electronics?
A strat and tele are going to feel different ,especially standing due to where it centers on the body due to where straps mount.

Strat neck pick up in telecaster - Telecaster Guitar Forum

P-90 in a Stratocaster - Any Good - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Hi all, Has anyone tried a P-90 as a bridge pup in a Strat ? I'm assuming the body/pickguard setup would make a difference and may take away some typical P-90 magic - but how much ? Note - I would use it as a single pickup guitar. Thanks.

Neck Pickup: Tele vs. Strat - Telecaster Guitar Forum
The strat doesn't have this problem. Strat neck pickup is shimmery and clear and full and authoratative and bright all at the same time. It's a masterpiece of electric guitar design. Kind of like the bridge PU on a tele. Can solve the problem by changing the neck pickup to a different design.

Stratocaster tuning hole spacing? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
I'm building a strat neck, and I haven't been able to find measurements for the centres of the tuning holes. I need the distance of the first hole from the nut, the distance each hole is from the straight side of the headstock, and the distance each is apart.

Possibly Changing Strat to another model, is it worth it?
Hi all! So a while back i bought a 2012 Fender strat classic 60s series MiM, I fell in love with it, the neck, the 7.25 radius and the tone/sound of the vintage styled pickups. My buddy has a Fender Strat Performer HSS USA in satin surf green that he has offered me in a swap potentially for...
