Enjoyed this area to walk around in the morning when it wasn’t too busy. Nice way to view the rivers, stadiums and the fountain. Full review by tscheblo

The park does not have swings or slides. However it does have an educational and historical spot where Fort Pitt once was and is now a museum. The park is vast so if you bring a soccer ball, frisbee, baseball gloves and a ball, there is room to play any kind of yard activities you would enjoy and would need space. Also keep in mind that just a short walk across the bridge, there is Carnegie Museum which has a very large children’s activity center. Also within the city (short walk from the park and during the summer), PPG Plaza has fountain area that children can enjoy and run thru to cool off. During major events in Point State Park there are always activities set up for children/kids to enjoy.
