Boonville is a town in Yadkin County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,222 at the 2010 census. Boonville was named for Daniel Boone. A post office has been in operation in Boonville since 1857. The town was incorporated by the North Carolina legislature on February 19, 1895.
