Dear all, in August, how cold will it be at night near Tungamalenga, near the entrance to the park / Ruaha River Lodge? I will be camping and need to choose a sleeping bag. Also do I need a mosquito net that is tight enough to keep out no-see-ums? Will a 'normal' mozzy net do?
A:
This is the dry season and can average 27C/81F during the day and 14C/57F at night. I would assume a good netting without holes and tucked in should be good.
Thanks Shannon for comments. How much is generally charges and how is it in April end?
A:
The park entrance fee is $30, but you need a car to get there and can't go in without a guide; not sure what the weather is like in April since I don't live in Tanzania!
Hi What are the typical costs ? I know can vary based on number of days but any info can help. thanks

Hello, We will be visiting Ruaha in early July. We have a safari booked for our time in the park however we're trying to figure out how to get from Iringa to Ruaha. I know you can book a driver, which I hear is very expensive. Does anyone know of a more economical way of traveling from Iringa to Ruaha (either bus or shuttle). Appreciate all responses!
