After weeks of intraparty fighting, House Republicans passed the reconciliation package that addresses President Donald Trump’s fiscal agenda in a largely party line 215-214 vote early Thursday morning. Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Warren Davidson (R-OH) voted against the bill, joining all Democrats in opposing the package.

In Washington, Congressional Republicans, including all from Texas, passed what President Trump has called the "big, beautiful bill." It makes permanent the tax cuts approved during the President's first term.
