Russia struck Kyiv with drones and missiles in an overnight attack Tuesday, killing at least 15 in Ukraine and injuring 116 others. The attack, which was the deadliest in months, marks the latest escalation in a series of recent air assaults on Ukraine.

At least 14 people were killed and 44 injured in a Russian attack on Kyiv overnight, Ukraine's interior minister has said.

The claim by the General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces, which came on a holiday celebrating Russia's sovereignty, is in line with Western intelligence estimates.
