Coldplay will hold concerts in Mumbai and Ahmedabad in January. The administration has notified the music group ahead of Chris Martin’s band performance in Gujarat “not to use children in any form on stage,” reported ANI.

The action followed a petition filed on January 2 by Prof Punditrao Dharenavar, an assistant professor of Sociology at Government College, Sector 46 Chandigarh.

The District Child Protection Unit in Ahmedabad has warned Coldplay and organizers against involving children on stage during their upcoming concert. They are also mandated to provide ear protection for minors due to potential health risks from high sound levels.
