Utah resident Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, 39, was shot and critically wounded during the protest in Salt Lake City on Saturday, June 14. He later died in the hospital from his injuries, the Salt Lake City Police Department confirmed in a news release.
The Salt Lake City Police Department announced that they have charged 24-year-old Arturo Gamboa in relation to the June 14 shooting during the “No Kings” demonstration in the downtown part of the city.
Police say Ah Loo was an innocent bystander caught in the line of fire between peacekeepers and a man with an AR-15-style rifle.
