Alabama’s Kalen DeBoer was all about the running game during the first half of the Iron Bowl against Auburn on Saturday night. The Tide ran for 98 first-half yards to grab a 17-6 lead at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Jam Miller leads Alabama with 64 yards on 10 carries.

AUBURN — Cam Calhoun has been ejected from the Iron Bowl for targeting. The Alabama football defensive back was charged with targeting with 5:54 left in the second quarter against Auburn after a hit against Tigers quarterback Ashton Daniels while holding a 17-0 lead.

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix met his wife Izzy Nix when he was a quarterback for the Auburn Tigers and she was a cheerleader there. For Saturday’s big Iron Bowl between Auburn and the Alabama Crimson Tide, Izzy posted a throwback cheerleader picture fired up for the game.
