AUSTIN, Texas — As the official "No Kings" protest at the Texas Capitol ended, police closed a number of streets in Downtown Austin as protesters began walking through downtown.

Many residents without legal status are staying away from anti-ICE protests because they don't feel safe. More demonstrations are planned for the weekend.
Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill and across the country remain divided following protests against Trump's deportation policies.
