Sam Bennett won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Stanley Cup playoffs' Most Valuable Player (MVP) after helping Florida to a second successive NHL championship with a 5-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers in Game Six on Tuesday.

Sam Bennett was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the NHL playoffs MVP before a jubilant Amerant Bank Arena crowd in Sunrise, Florida, on June 17.

Panthers forward Sam Bennett, who led the NHL playoff field with 15 goals, including five in the Final, was named the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy on Tuesday night.
