Lakers head coach JJ Redick told reporters that Doncic was vomiting all day before Game 3. Doncic looked visibly weak and sick during the contest, a game the Lakers lost to go down 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.

Doncic, who had carried the Lakers’ offense through the first two games by averaging 34 points per contest, struggled a lot in Game 3. The Slovenian star finished with just 17 points on 6-of-16 shooting, adding seven rebounds and eight assists, but looking visibly fatigued and unlike his usual self.

LeBron James finished with 38 points, but Luka Doncic struggled to find his shot while battling illness in the Lakers' 116-104 loss to Minnesota in Game 3.
