CLEVELAND, Ohio — Kenny Atkinson wants you to believe he’s still undecided about who starts Game 1 of the playoffs. He’s playing coy, rotating practice jersey colors, keeping fans guessing about whether it’ll be Dean Wade,
According to what team analysts believe, Atkinson will go with size as his best option, rolling out 6-foot-9 forward Dean Wade alongside Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. This gives Cleveland a long and interchangeable defense-first lineup, with Wade able to counter Ingram’s perimeter play.

Dean Wade and Jaylon Tyson will not accompany the Cavaliers on the three-game road trip that begins March 30 against the Utah Jazz, the team announced March 29 in a news release. Wade is nursing a sprained right ankle Tyson is dealing with a bruised big toe on his left foot.
Despite the absence of Donovan Mitchell (eye), Wade wasn't able to take advantage of his opportunity with a microscopic usage rate. He remains a deep-league fantasy asset at best with averages of 6.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 three-pointers in 21.2 minutes over his last seven games.
