Four Delray Beach firefighters were placed on administrative leave days after a Brightline train hit a fire truck that drove onto tracks, injuring 15 people.

Two chiefs, a captain and an engineer were placed on administrative leave after the Delray Beach ladder truck was struck by a train.

They are on leave “pending the results of an internal administrative investigation to determine if City and Fire Rescue policies and procedures were followed,” the fire chief said.
