Central Florida has Red Flag Warning from late morning to early afternoon
The Red Flag warning is in effect for all of east Central Florida. On Thursday, the warning begins at 11 a.m. and lasts through 8 p.m., according to NWS Melbourne. Wind gusts are expected to be 25-30 mph, relative humidity at 25-35% and rapidly drying fuels.
A red flag warning has been issued for Palm Beach County just five times since 2020 including twice this week.
Winds are expected to pick up to 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, humidity will be as low as 30 percent and temperatures ...
