Lando Norris accused Max Verstappen of “talking nonsense” after claiming he would have already won the 2025 Formula 1 title had his car been as dominant as the McLaren.

Lando Norris said on Saturday that he had nothing to moan about after being beaten to pole for the Qatar Grand Prix by McLaren team-mate and title rival Oscar Piastri.

"I think you can't do a better job than allowing them to race," the Dutch driver, whose current teammate Yuki Tsunoda is a clear number two, told reporters.
