(CNN) - Kenny Chesney is headed to Las Vegas where a shirt and shoes will likely be required. The country singer announced that a residency at the Sphere would begin later this year.

Kenny Chesney announced a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. The country star's limited engagement starts in May 2025 and tickets go on sale on Jan. 31.

Tickets for Kenny Chesney’s Las Vegas residency at the Sphere go on sale Jan. 17 at 1 p.m. through Ticketmaster. With this being the first country act to take over Las Vegas’ Sphere, it’ll come as no surprise if tickets sell out fast.

The venue shared a video on its social media pages that has some fans speculating shows from the country star are coming.

Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Country music star Kenny Chesney has signed on to play a residency at Sphere Las Vegas. The Grammy winner will kick off his run of 12 concerts on Memorial Day weekend. Tickets go on sale Tuesday. Chesney toured last year with the Zac Brown Band. His most recent album, Born, was released in 2024.

The 12-date Kenny Chesney Live at Sphere Las Vegas residency kicks off May 22 and will run until June 14.
