Heavy rain fell across North Texas overnight Wednesday and continued through midday Thursday. Skies clear up by the afternoon and a beautiful weekend is ahead.North Texans woke up Thursday to widespread heavy rain and thunderstorms.

An updated flash flood warning was issued by the NWS Fort Worth TX on Thursday at 4:40 a.m. in effect until 8 a.m. The warning is for Bosque, Ellis, Hill and Johnson counties.
