Pop star Sabrina Carpenter headlined Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 16 as part of her sold-out Short n' Sweet Tour and performed a surprise cover of Dolly Parton's "9 to 5."

Despite light moments, sing-along anthems and an imaginative stage that suggested nostalgic television, too much of her concert seemed stiff and rehearsed.
