The New Orleans City Council unanimously decided that second line requirements will stay the exact same as last year, until everyone can come together and agree on a solution moving forward.

The enforcement crackdown comes shortly before the upcoming 2025-2026 second-line season. A City Council hearing on the issue is set for Thursday (Aug. 7).
