Eberechi Eze scored three times as Arsenal outclassed Tottenham Hotspur in a 4-1 North London derby win at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Arsenal were heading towards utopia, but Richarlison’s outstanding finish from distance, which satisfyingly sailed over David Raya, offered the visitors a lifeline. For the first time in the contest, Spurs had a foothold, but there was no real sense that they would stage a stunning comeback.
Eberechi Eze struck a hat-trick as Arsenal thrashed Tottenham 4-1 on Sunday at the Emirates. Leandro Trossard opened the scoring in the 36th minute before Eze gave Arsenal a 2-0 lead at half-time.
Had Thomas Frank opted for a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 lineup in the North London derby, and Arsenal run riot at the Emirates, the Dane would have been lambasted by all corners for being naive. Instead, the finger was pointed at him for a conservative setup, which - in fairness - did not appear to be the worst tactic.

Defending champion Liverpool was routed 3-0 at home by Nottingham Forest and has now lost six of their seven league games, falling to 11th in the table after the day's games. City, meanwhile, lost 2-1 on the road against Newcastle United.
