Runners trekked across 29 of the city's neighborhoods Sunday morning, taking in some of the landmarks as they made toward the finish line.

The 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon streams live nationwide on Sunday at 8 a.m. ET on the NBC Chicago News channel on Peacock and NBCChicago.com. The Chicago Marathon, one of six annual World Marathon Majors, features some of the top marathoners in the world and in the U.S. who didn’t compete in the Paris Olympics.

Runners from across the world gathered in Chicago Sunday for the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Runners started the 26.2-mile course Sunday morning from Grant Park and went through 29 of Chicago’s neighborhoods before finishing back in Grant Park.
