Delhi building collapse LIVE - Satya Niketan PG Building Rescue: A five-storey building in Delhi’s Satya Niketan area collapsed on Sunday, leaving at least one person dead and several others feared trapped under the debris.

Mahesh, the landlord`s son arrested in connection with the Delhi building collapse, will be produced before the Patiala House Court on Wednesday after his police custody ends. The court had remanded him to two days of police custody on Monday.

The court turned down an oral request from SG Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre, MCD and Delhi Police, to allow the Delhi HC to continue dealing with the Satya Niketan collapse separately

A partial building collapse in the Bronx has left two people injured, according to the FDNY. It is not yet known what could have caused the partial collapse of the building. The identities of the injured civilians are also not known at this time.

The 19th Century Grade II listed building has been empty for about 18 months.
