Kerr Lake, also known as Buggs Island, is a huge 50,000 acre crappie factory on the Virginia-North Carolina border located at Clarksville, Virginia.

The 3,007-acre lake opened to fishing in 2010. While we caught a few bass that hot day in July 2010, we caught at least 100 crappie, fishing beneath a bridge.
