Austria’s foreign minister has urged countries not to boycott next year’s Eurovision Song Contest over Israel’s participation.

Netherlands, Iceland, Ireland, Spain and Slovania have said they will not participate in the competition if Israel does.

Members of the European Broadcasting Union, including the BBC, will decide whether Israel can participate with a vote in November.
