The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has been discounted by $500 if bought directly from Samsung’s website and shoppers have no device to trade in. If a handset is swapped, Samsung has again upped prices for used phones. Alongside that Samsung is knocking a further $300 off the Galaxy Fold 6 when purchased in navy, pink or silver.

It's a real shame that the best foldable phone of the year is only available in two regions. Samsung's release of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition brings about all of the upgrades we hoped to see in the Fold 6,

If like me you were hoping we might see a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE – i.e. an affordable alternative to Samsung’s pricey foldable phones – then I have some bad news. According to Samsung itself, there’s no plans to launch a cheaper foldable for the time being.
