Tournament time has come for high school girls basketball teams in the Boise, Idaho, region. The district playoffs in the 6A to 1A classifications are ready to tip off as the calendar turns to February.

Monticello has defeated a handful of ranked opponents this season. The Magic have one more ranked opponent on the horizon in Totino Grace.

These rankings are considered "pound-for-pound" rankings, similar to many rankings systems in boxing and mixed martial arts. They represent the best teams in southeastern Minnesota, relative to the class they play in.

With no seniors on its roster, the Coventry girls basketball team is 13-1 and atop the CIAC Class S rankings and NCCC standings
