On the Fourth of July, Katie Guillory, the LSU strength and conditioning coach for LSU gymnastics and former LSU softball player, was in what she calls a freak accident.

IRVINE, Calif. – Gradie Appling and Rylie Johnson, a pair of incoming LSU softball freshmen, will participate in the 2025 Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) All-American Game at 9 p.m.

Guillory played softball for the Tigers from 2009-13. After working at Liberty and Illinois, she returned to LSU three years ago to work with gymnastics and beach volleyball.

LSU will see a pair of star freshmen compete in the All-American showcase, set to take place in California.
