Liverpool head coach Arne Slot pulled out of receiving an award in Manchester on Sunday night following his side’s 3-0 home defeat by Nottingham Forest a day earlier. Slot won the Football Writers’ Association Northern manager of the year award after guiding Liverpool to the Premier League title in the 2024-25 season.
