Monrovia, California-based grocery chain Trader Joe’s has set an opening date for its new store in Sugar Land, its sixth Houston-area location. The store at 13550 University Blvd. will open on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 8 a.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony starting at 7:55 a.m.
