By then, Barkley and the Eagles had long silenced the Giants crowd, who booed him every time he touched the ball until they were worn down, much like the Giants' vaunted defensive line. Are the New York Giants a good football team? No. They are not. But the Eagles went up to the Meadowlands and totally hammered a division rival on their home field, and outside of a slow offensive start they controlled the game from start to finish.
