Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian was introduced at SEC media days on Tuesday, July 15, to Texas A&M's "Aggie War Hymn" fight song.

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko poked fun at media who thought "The Eyes of Texas" would start playing during his entrance at SEC Media Days.

But as a way of making it up to the Texas coach, when Sarkisian wrapped up his comments and exited, the Longhorns’ fight song, “Texas Fight,” was properly played.

It should be impossible to confuse Texas and Texas A&M, and yet someone at SEC Media Days did just that while playing the Aggie War Hymn ahead of Steve Sarkisian's press conference.

As the third day of 2025 SEC Media Days got under way Wednesday, commissioner Greg Sankey acknowledged a “fumble” with a team’s fight song the previous day.
