Spotify already lets you upload your own pics to use as playlist covers, but now it has launched a feature that gives you an easy, in-app way to customize them. The audio streaming service's new Create Cover Art feature comes with a set of tools you can use to crop images in different shapes,

To use the tool select the playlist you made and tap the three dots. Then click "Create Cover Art." In the hub users can upload images and add text and stickers. Once you finish the playlist will be updated with the new cover art. The feature is available in beta across 65 English markets.

There are a similar number of custom Spotify playlists as there are people alive on the planet, and the music streaming giant is now allowing users to add an extra level of individuality to their creations. As of today, subscribers have the option to design and customize their own Spotify playlist cover art.

To try out Spotify's custom cover art feature for yourself, just make sure you have the app updated and head over to a playlist you'd like to make art for. Enter the playlist and tap the three-dot menu and select "Create cover art" in the menu of options.
