The National Hurricane Center continued tracking two systems in the Atlantic basin Wednesday, including one that could develop into a tropical depression later this week. The system that could become a depression was described by the NHC Wednesday morning as a "broad area of low pressure" located over the central tropical Atlantic that is producing "disorganized showers and thunderstorms.

A disturbance in the central tropical Atlantic is expected to move west-northwestward by the end of the week, the National Hurricane Center said.
