Two wildfires that started over the weekend on Colorado’s Western Slope have consumed more than 20,000 acres and destroyed at least three buildings, according to fire officials.

Another disaster emergency has been declared in western Colorado due to wildfires burning across the western half of the state.

Gov. Jared Polis on Tuesday declared a disaster emergency to fight a wildfire that has burned about 700 acres in Delta County.

A juvenile survived a crash in southwestern Colorado where a car went off the highway and rolled approximately 320 feet down the side of a mountain.

Two people are dead and a third has been hospitalized after a car rolled down the side of a mountain south of Ouray Tuesday morning.

The Honda Civic rolled down the mountainside and came to rest upside down in the river, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
