Dozens of dead geese that appeared in parts of a New Jersey borough’s parks have tested positive for the avian flu, leading local officials to keep the properties closed and ask that a popular event be moved.

A number of New Jersey parks will remain closed after dead Canadian geese found there have tested positive for bird flu.

After reports last week of dead birds in Allentown, more were spotted in Neptune and Lavallette, as officials wait for bird flu test results.
