GasBuddy reports average gas prices rise
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 0.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.08/g today. The national average is up 6.5 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands at 1.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Gas prices are down right now because demand is down, which a gas price analyst said is a trend we see at the beginning of every year. "It's because Americans generally drive a lot less in fall and winter collectively," said Patrick De Haan, an analyst for GasBuddy.
