Gilas Pilipinas head coach Tim Cone admitted that Australia’s superior athleticism and length proved to be a wall too high for the Filipinos to overcome, as the Philippines suffered an 84-60 loss in their 2025 FIBA Asia Cup quarterfinals clash.

The Nationals will face Guam in back-to-back games. The first meeting will be on November 28 on the opponents’ home court, while the second on December 1 is to be played in the Philippines.
