It appears quarterback Jalen Milroe out of Alabama had a growth spurt. At the Senior Bowl, Milroe's hands measured in at 8 3/4 inches. Just one month later at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, his hands measured more half an inch bigger,

However, NFL insider Daniel Jeremiah spoke to Rich Eisen about Milroe's hand controversy during the combine on Saturday. "You get different scouts measuring different times," Jeremiah stated. "Guys can work on trying to stretch their hands out... You can do exercises and they can get massages trying to make that a little bit wider."

Nine inches is considered to be the acceptable hand size threshold for an NFL QB, and Milroe now measures just over that.
