PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Temperatures have warmed up enough outside the city that any threat of freezing rain overnight has subsided, and now the warmup begins. This weekend is noticeably warmer than last, with a high of 50 in the city on Saturday.

Friday's weather around Philadelphia will feature sunshine once again as temperatures manage to warm a little more and peak in the low to middle 40s Friday afternoon.The dry weather will come to an end overnight Friday into Saturday morning as a warm front approaches the region from the southwest.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Friday night in advance of some light freezing rain in northern reaches of the Philly suburbs.
