Secunderabad street filled with police, tension after temple vandalism by outsider, affecting businesses and daily life of residents.

The entire temple area has been barricaded and people are not being allowed to pass through the area. Even locals are being stopped and allowed after providing proof that they reside in that area

Police also found that Salman Salim Thakur, alias Salman, who allegedly desecrated the main idol at Mutyalamma temple in Secunderabad, was self-radicalised by watching videos of Islamic preacher Zakir Naik and other preachers on social media and was earlier involved in similar incidents in Mumbai.

The Hyderabad police registered five cases against people who resorted to violence during a protest at Muthyalamma temple in Secunderabad on Saturday.
