DeShon Elliott took to social media to thank the Steelers organization after signing his two-year extension with Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott agreed to a two-year, $12.5 million extension that includes $9.21 million in guarantees, NFL Network reported. Elliott has elected to stay with the Steelers despite the team signing quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a one-year contract.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and safety DeShon Elliott agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension worth $12.5 million, his agency, Wasserman, confirmed.

“He’s still throwing the (expletive) out of the ball, honestly,” the coach said to Fowler. “He’s the best quarterback they’ve had since (Ben Roethlisberger). We will see how the body holds up, but I think he’s going to help them immensely.”

While the Pittsburgh Steelers have Aaron Rodgers for the 2025 season, Ben Roethlisberger isn't very confident that the team's new starting quarterback will be sticking around after that. Rodgers becomes the Steelers' sixth starting quarterback since Roethlisberger retired after the 2021 season.
