Cinemark and Regal Cinemas plan to reopen in July. SAN FRANCISCO -- If you miss the experience of going to the movies, your wait may finally be over.

This is just in time to make those plans to help beat boredom during summer break. From June 11 through Aug. 7, participating Regal Cinemas will offer the chain’s $1 Family Movies for Summer Break.

According to CinemaTreasures.org, Regal Cinemas South Beach 18 opened June 16, 1999 with a total of 2,799 seats.
