A massive apartment building boom in the Austin-Round Rock region has driven rents downward, real estate experts and housing advocates have said.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night just north of Round Rock, after a man who had allegedly been driving erratically crashed in a field near Interstate 35 and Westinghouse Road, not far from the Texas Crushed Stone Company. Police responded to the scene and located the man walking toward a wooded area nearby.
