NFL regular season nears its end, Steelers' TJ Watt is seen as the favorite to win the DPOY, but injury has made it a closer race
Mike Tomlin kept the door open for each of his injured players to suit up for Saturday's game against the Ravens during Monday's press conference. That list of players includes T.J. Watt, the Steelers star pass rusher who injured his ankle near the end of Pittsburgh's Week 15 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
T.J. Watt went down with an injury in the team's 27-13 loss to the Eagles in Philadelphia, adding insult to injury on a day to forget. The one-man wrecking crew put his stamp on the game, but it's the injury that will leave the lasting image, especially as the Steelers inch toward the playoffs.
An NFL insider provided the final injury status of Pittsburgh Steelers stars T.J. Watt and George Pickens in Week 16 vs the Baltimore Ravens.

The Steelers will have to do without star receiver George Pickens (hamstring) and quarterback Justin Fields (abdominal) on Saturday. Safety DeShon Elliott (hamstring) is doubtful, and cornerback Donte Jackson (back) and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi (groin) are both questionable.
Beyonce provided more excitement than either game during Netflix’s NFL debut on Christmas Day. Riding into her halftime appearance on a white horse, the 32-time Grammy winner rocked her hometown Houston crowd with a nearly 13-minute performance on Wednesday.
PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers leaders seemed nothing short of exasperated around the locker room on Wednesday. After a passionate message from the Ravens' away locker room, linebacker Patrick Queen, who is also the green dot of the defense, seemed lost for words at times during his press conference on Wednesday.
The superstar spread holiday cheer during Wednesday’s Halftime Show at the Christmas Day Texans-Ravens NFL game in her hometown of Houston, Texas, marking the first time Beyoncé performed songs from her hit 2024 album “Cowboy Carter” in front of a live audience.
