The White House’s growing travel ban is now shutting down immigrant visa processing indefinitely for seventy-five countries, including Brazil, Iran, Russia, and Somalia, among several others.
The Trump administration has added seven countries, including five in Africa, to the list of nations whose passport holders are required to post bonds of up to $15,000 to apply for visas to enter the United States.
Many foreigners, including former U.S. citizens, lose Social Security when living abroad because of their citizenship. Benefits can stop after six months overseas.
