The No. 1 seed prevailed over the No. 2 seed in a match ultimately decided by Zverev’s discomfort when coming forward, Sinner’s underrated first serve, and a kiss of death from the net.

Facing Sinner reminded Alexander Zverev of trying to solve the challenge presented by the 24-time major champion Djokovic.

Jannik Sinner cruised to his second straight Australian Open title and third major overall, beating Alexander Zverev in a one-sided final.

In total, Sinner has won 36 of his last 37 matches, his only defeat coming against Carlos Alcaraz in the final of October’s China Open.
